Metal Gear Solid 4 Remaster Coming

Metal Gear Solid 4 Remaster is finally here. Konami is dropping hints about MGS4 coming to modern platforms.

It looks like Konami has finally revealed the news that fans have been waiting for a long time. A new version of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid 4 Remaster Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, which was released last year, included the first three games in the series, and that title hinted that a “Volume 2” was on the way. Naturally, the idea that this new collection would also include Metal Gear Solid 4 was reinforced.

Metal Gear Solid 4 Reborn With Remaster

While Konami has yet to make a definitive confirmation on the matter, the publisher hasn’t held back from dropping hints about what’s to come. Speaking to IGN, Konami producer Noriaki Okamura responded to questions about Metal Gear Solid 4’s potential appearance on modern hardware. While Okamura said he couldn’t reveal anything for sure right now, he hinted that fans could “connect the dots.” “We’re really excited about what we have in store for the future of the series right now. So I’m sorry, we can’t really reveal anything right now. But stay tuned!” Okamura said.

Metal Gear Solid 4 coming to modern platforms can be considered a big event in the history of the series. Compared to other games in the series, MGS4 has only been playable on PlayStation 3 until now. Due to the PS3’s unique architecture, this game could not be backward compatible with PS4 or PS5 and could not meet the demands of fans for years. If Metal Gear Solid 4 is re-released as a remaster, all games in the series will finally come together on modern platforms and fans’ ten-year wait will be over.
