AMD’s next-generation Radeon RX 8000 series graphics cards are still leaking, with new information shedding light on the memory bandwidth, Infinity Cache, and VRAM speeds of the Navi 48 and Navi 44 GPUs. A recent Geekbench listing has revealed a high-end Navi 48-powered graphics card, likely the Radeon RX 8700 XT or a variant thereof. Given that this card has 56 CUs, it hints at the true power of the RX 8700 XT.

New Information About AMD Navi 48 and Navi 44 GPUs Emerged

@all_the_watts A cryptic tweet shared by a user named X revealed details of four different SKUs belonging to the RDNA 4 family. These include:

  • Navi 48 GPU, 256-bit bus, 64 MB Infinity Cache, 20 Gbps VRAM
  • Navi 48 GPU, 256-bit bus, 64 MB Infinity Cache, 18 Gbps VRAM
  • Navi 48 GPU, 192-bit bus, 48 ​​MB Infinity Cache, 19 Gbps VRAM
  • Navi 44 GPU, 128-bit bus, 32 MB Infinity Cache, 18 Gbps VRAM

These leaks align with information previously reported by @Kepler_L2, who said that the top-end Navi 48 SKUs will feature 64MB of Infinity Cache, while the bottom-end models will feature 48MB. AMD’s next-gen GPUs will likely compete head-to-head in rasterization performance with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4080. According to YouTuber Moore’s Law is Dead, at least one RDNA 4 SKU will launch with 64 CUs.
