The biggest sci-fi film of the year is currently ranked fourth among the most successful films of 2024. Over 700 million US dollars Dune: Part Two into the box office (via Box Office Mojo ) and left audiences and critics alike enthusiastic. The second part of Denis Villeneuve’s epic saga received a strong rating of 8.1 out of 10 from the Moviepilot community, while on Rotten Tomatoes it even achieved a score of 92 percent.

Sci-Fi blockbuster Dune 2 comes to streaming subscription: Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya in gripping space saga
In Dune: Part Two, Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) and his mother (Rebecca Ferguson) have arrived on the desert planet Arrakis, where the two find shelter with the native Fremen people.
With the help of the warrior Chani (Zendaya), they integrate themselves into their customs and challenge the corrupt emperor and the enemy Harkonnens, who are responsible for the death of Paul’s father. However, Paul’s desire for revenge soon threatens to degenerate into a holy war that could mean the death of millions.

Dune: Part Two – Trailer 3 (German) HD
After the streaming launch of Dune 2, you can already look forward to a new installment, as a third part of the sci-fi series was confirmed just a few weeks after the theatrical release. However, it may still be several years before it reaches us. Until then, the prequel series Dune: Prophecy, which will be released on HBO later this year, should provide a remedy.
