A golfer Ursula Wikström finished third in the Women’s European Tour competition in Ireland.
His total score after four days of competition was -18. That’s one stroke worse than his still-placed counterparts.
After the final round of France Pauline Roussin-Bouchard and England Annabel Dimmock shared the top spot with a score of -19. The two decided the victory through a replay, after which the Englishman celebrated the victory.
Chasing his first race win on the European Tour, the Finn started the final round of the race in second place and was in the fight for victory until the last fairways.
– Fairly intact, a good race after a long time. It was really nice that I could play in the top all week and keep myself there, Wikström summed up.
Even though the victory was still a dream this time, the Finn was mainly satisfied with what he did.
– Good game all the time. It never broke down. The others just pulled a degree better.
The results of his rounds for the four days were 68, 68, 69 and 69. According to Wikström, he hadn’t been able to compete as well in a while.
– It feels really good that little by little things are starting to fall into place.
Noora Komulainen shared 33rd place with a score of -5, Tiia Koivisto shared 48th place with a score of -2 and Emily Pentala tied for 54th place.
