What kind of series is Fallout? The Fallout series on Amazon Prime is based on the popular video game series from Bethesda. The story takes place in the year 2296, after the events of all previous games. It focuses on Lucy, a resident of Vault 33 who leaves her safe bunker to save her father. She explores post-apocalyptic America in the Los Angeles area and meets the survivors of this new world.
The series tells its own new story and does not repeat the events of the games. Nevertheless, it remains true to the typical Fallout feeling. When is Fallout Season 2 coming?
A release date for the second season of Fallout has not yet been set. According to Moviepilot, the season is expected to start in 2026. The production effort is compared to The Rings of Power and House of the Dragon. But maybe it will start in 2025? We will keep you updated here as soon as there is any news about the start date.

There is a possibility that Aaron Paul (known as Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad) will make his debut in Fallout Season 2. Fallout director and producer Jonathan Nolan has hinted that Paul is very interested in a lead role, according to GamesRadar. Whether he will actually join the cast will only be revealed later.
