The 23-year-old soccer star was shot in the morning at Union Square in San Francisco and suffered severe chest injuries. According to a post by the 49ers on X Pearsall’s condition should be serious but stable.

The suspected robber was arrested by police at the scene and taken to a hospital for examination, the San Francisco Police Department announced at X.
