A woman in her 60s tried to kill herself and her severely disabled daughter by setting fire to the car they were sitting in. Now the woman has been convicted of attempted murder, local media reports.
The incident occurred this summer outside Uppsala. When the picture started to burn, the woman relented and got her daughter out of the car.
The woman is now sentenced to five years in prison. She must also pay SEK 200,000 in damages to her daughter.
