Venezia, the “Finnish team” of the Italian football Serie A, suffered a bitter defeat on Friday evening, when Torino defeated the promoted Venezia with a goal in the last minutes of the game 1-0.

Pohjanpalo won Serie B’s goal crown last season and was one of the decisive players of the up-and-coming team Venezia, but he injured his thigh at the beginning of August and was unable to play in the first two league matches.
