It’s a good week to be a Yellowstone fan. First the cancellation of the main series is reversed, which is to continue without Kevin Costner … and now, after two years of waiting, the first Teaser trailer for season 5B galloped along. But see for yourself.

This is what happens in Season 5 of Yellowstone

The first half of the season ended with Jamie (Wes Bentley) telling his sister Beth (Kelly Reilly) and his father declared war. And already in the teaser trailer for season 5B, the Dutton family situation seems to escalate when Beth pushes Jamie’s partner Sarah (Dawn Olivieri) against a wall and warns the black Dutton sheep: “If you destroy me, you destroy yourself.”

But while there was stress about the final season, fans can now sit back and relax. If everything goes as planned, there will be a 6th season, which will be hosted by Reilly and Cole Hauser as Beth and Rip Wheeler In addition, the Yellowstone spin-offs continue: 1923 gets a second season, The Madison and 1944 start from scratch.

If you’re already missing Dutton patriarch Costner, you can currently see him in the cinema in his western epic Horizon. And here too, the future is in the bag, because the ambitious project involves a whole series. That was also partly the reason why he had a falling out with Yellowstone and showrunner Taylor Sheridan.

When does Yellowstone Season 5B start?

New episodes debut on 10 November 2024 on the American Paramount Network and shortly thereafter on AXN Black. Five episodes from season 5 are still outstanding.
