The police were alerted at 22.10 about loud explosions in the Årby area. A little later, an injured man arrived at the hospital.
“We put it in a clear connection to the shooting,” says the police spokesperson Johnny Gustavsson.
The incident is classified as attempted murder and aggravated weapons offences. At the moment, no one has been arrested.

The area is secluded
The police have cordoned off the hospital so that the staff can work undisturbed.
The suspected crime scene has also been cordoned off. The police are working with trace protection and questioning witnesses at the scene.
“We secure the crime scene and at the same time try to search for suspected perpetrators,” says Johnny Gustavsson.
