The deadly offensive by the Israeli army continues in the northern occupied West Bank, marking the third day of an operation that the Hebrew state describes as “anti-terrorist”. This operation targeted three Palestinian cities: Jenin, Tulkarem and Tubas, ravaged by drone strikes and the use of military bulldozers. A total of 16 Palestinians lost their lives. On Friday, August 30, the operations were mainly concentrated in Jenin. According to the Palestinians, “under the cover of the fight against terrorism, the Israelis aim to annex the West Bank”.
