(Telestock) – Retail trade in Spain grows more than expected in July 2024. According to the latest survey by the Spanish National Institute of Statistics (INE), retail sales recorded a 1% growth on an annual basis after the +0.4% reported in June and compared to +0.3% of consensus.
On a monthly basis, it recorded an increase of 0.5%, after +0.6% in the previous month.
The raw series (not seasonally adjusted) records an increase of 2.8% on an annual basis (+9.1% on a monthly basis).
