At the beginning of June, TV4 announced that several familiar faces will return in a new and different version of “Farmer seeks wife” – namely in the program called “Farmer seeks wife – second summer”.
Five farmers from previous seasons will appear in the box this spring as they once again look for love.

Familiar faces in “Farmer seeks wife – second summer” – here are all the farmers
One of those returning is Per Solberg39, from Vimmerby. He appeared in season 13 of “Farmer Seeks Wife” and found Sophie Öhman with whom he became together. A year after the season, however, the couple went their separate ways.
Next turn is Sven-Arne Eriksson58, from Ockelbo. He appeared in season 7. He too found a wife by name Carola Rydh. The couple has now separated.
In “Farmer seeks wife – second summer” viewers will also get to see Sigrid Bergåkra51, from Sörömåsen. She appeared in the eleventh season.
Also Ellinor Eke Göransson30, returns. Although she is not a farmer, she will look for love in “Farmer Seeks Wife – Second Summer”.

Last but not least, TV4 announced that the olive farmer Dino Choreftis51, would appear on the new show. Dino Choreftis, however, regretted it and decided to drop out of “Farmer seeks wife – second summer”.
It wasn’t long since the 51-year-old was seen in the box. In fact, he was in the last season of “Farmer Seeks Wife”.

– I just felt that I couldn’t handle it. It’s the middle of the season here, I have to leave my job. Then I felt that I didn’t want to do the same thing again. It was a short time, from one thing to the other, he tells TV4.

After the last recording, Choreftis was involved in a motorcycle accident, something that made him rethink.
– After my traffic accident, I have become a little different as a person. I reason differently, have landed more as a person. I feel that I want to find my other half in a different way, he tells the channel.

According to him, the production at TV4 took his defection well.
“We have just kicked off the recordings and it is true that we will not follow Dino in “Farmer seeks wife – Second summer”. Our idea has always been to follow 4 of the 5 farmers that we presented before the summer. In close dialogue with Dino, we have jointly landed on the fact that his journey of love in Second Summer is coming to an end already,” says Clara Tengbomexecutive producer at TV4, to the channel.
