In place: we saw season 2 of the Netflix series, what is it worth? Our review

In place we saw season 2 of the Netflix series

Jean-Pascal Zadi’s series “En place” is back on Netflix for a second season. But are the new episodes as funny as the first ones?

He is elected President of the Republic, but it is not to everyone’s taste. Stéphane Blé makes his return in season 2 ofIn placereleased this Thursday on Netflix. In the series starring Jean-Pascal Zadi, Eric Judor, Benoît Poelvoorde and Marina Foïs, the president-elect will have to succeed in implementing his program, while avoiding threats and resolving his personal problems. Nothing less.

As the first season released in January 2023, In place Season 2 still manages to combine politics and humor. These new episodes paint a vitriolic portrait of the French political class, while dealing with many social issues (racism, political opportunism, etc.). Perhaps less surprising and refreshing than the first season, but still just as effective.

The jokes (which sometimes have trouble finding the balance between schoolboy humor and punchy dialogues) fly, the good nature of this idealistic and dreamy president from civil society continues to amuse, the casting continues to have fun, and we enjoy devouring the six 30-minute episodes of this new season. They can all be found on Netflix.

Synopsis – Stéphane Blé, an idealistic educator, finds himself propelled into the presidential race by accident. The series is available on Netflix from January 20, 2023. A season 2 is planned soon on the streaming platform.
