As the Russian counteroffensive continues in Ukraine after the fighting in Kursk, Russia claims to have retaken two towns in the separatist regions of Luhansk and Donetsk. Faced with this escalation, the foreign ministers of the European Union met on Thursday 29 August in Brussels to discuss support for Ukraine.
