Råd & Rön’s black list is record-breaking this year – the electric car giant included

The autumn update of the black list contains 235 companies that chose not to do justice to their customers.

Last year, 32,303 cases came to the General Claims Board, Arn. This is an increase of 6,262 cases compared to the previous year, writes Råd & Rön.

Tesla is singled out

The motor industry has the most companies, 71, in the updated list.

– Problems with purchases and used cars are usually what consumers have problems with. It is often about small companies and it is a difficult industry, says Daniel Kjellberg, editor-in-chief of Råd & Rön.

Tesla in Upplands Väsby is one of the companies. Råd & Rön writes that a customer bought a Tesla with incorrectly installed doors, which caused gravel from the road to swirl up and damage the car’s paintwork. ARN has considered that the car does not meet the quality that the customer could expect, but despite this, the customer was refused when he tried to invoke the warranty at Tesla’s workshop in Uppsala.

They have the most cases

60 new artisan companies are now on the black list. 27 airlines are on the updated list, including British Airways, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa and Ryanair. The worst, with the most cases at ARN in total, is Turkish Airlines with 13 cases, followed by Ryanair with twelve.

– There are many airlines here. Major airlines that time and again choose not to follow the decisions of ARN. Ryanair is often on the worst list. It’s about canceled flights, delays and so on where the companies’ travelers don’t get the compensation that the complaints board has determined they are entitled to, says Daniel Kjellberg.

The call from Råd & Rön is to take the time to search for information about the companies before buying anything.

– Do research so that you get a good overview of the company you are going to do business with. Feel free to choose companies that are connected to a trade association, where they often have common guidelines.
