New devices with Wi Fi 7 from ASUS


ASUS, ROG Rapture GT-BE19000, RT-BE86U, ROG USB-BE92 introduced their models at Gamescom 2024. The newly announced devices focus on cloud gaming and low latency for wireless solutions.

The devices stand out with their Wi-Fi 7 support. Wi-Fi 7 connectivity is reportedly coming to Windows 11 later this year. The ROG GT-BE19000 enables premium Wi-Fi 7 gaming experiences with up to 2.4x faster speeds and up to 73 percent wider coverage. ROG gaming networking uses Guest Network Pro to provide a dedicated gaming network SSID with game acceleration technology.

The new ASUS RT-BE86U model also features 30 percent more CPU power to create an AiMesh network. The device offers up to 20Gbps wired throughput, three times that of the RT-AX86U, with Ethernet backhaul options. The ROG USB-BE92 tri-band WiFi 7 USB adapter supports both USB Type-A and Type-C connections, allowing users to take advantage of the open 6GHz band for low-interference networking.
