Reuters Ukraine launched an attack on Russias Belgorod region

Ukraine has launched an attack on Russia’s Belgorod region, reports the Reuters news agency.

Telegram channel According to Mash a group of about 500 Ukrainian fighters has attacked the Nekhoteyevka and Shebekino border posts. About 200 of them are in the Nekhoteyevka area and 300 in the Shebekino offensive.

Belgorod borders the Kursk region, where Ukrainian forces have seized Russian territory after a lightning attack in early August.

Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that the situation is difficult, but under control.

– According to information, the enemy is trying to penetrate the border in the Belgorod region, Gladkov said in his Telegram message.

Russia bombed Ukraine at night

Ukraine said on Tuesday morning that it had repelled five missiles and 60 drones in last night’s Russian attack.
