Three killed in Ukraine in Russian airstrikes | News in brief

Early on Tuesday, air raid alarms sounded across Ukraine, when the country’s air force said it had detected several bombers taking off from the city of Engels in the western part of Russia.

Three people have been reported killed in the night attacks by the Russians. According to local authorities, two people died in the city of Kryvyi Rih and one in Zaporizhzhia.

Russia also carried out airstrikes in different parts of Ukraine yesterday, when at least four people were said to have died. According to Ukraine, yesterday’s attack targeted energy facilities across the country.
