The province of Utrecht reported last week that it has issued a permit for the capture, sedation and transmitter of a wolf. It concerns the animal that sought contact with dogs near Austerlitz on 31 July and also knocked over a young child. If the wolf continues to seek contact with people and dogs after being captured and transmitterd, the animal can also be shot with paintballs.
