It was at the Diamond League in the Polish city of Silesia that Armand Duplantis struck again. Mondo left Poland after soaring over 6.26 meters.

In the Diamond League, you win 10,000 euros (about SEK 100,000) for each competition won. If you win the final, it would result in a prize pool of 30,000 euros (about 300,000 kroner). It states Etusuora.
In this particular Diamond League competition, there was another 10,000 euros at stake, writes journalist Jonathan Gaul at X.
This meant that whoever was at the top of the overall ranking after the competition would get a bonus of SEK 10,000.
Then we stand at 10,000 euros in winning bonus, 10,000 euros in bonus for the ranking and we are not done there.
Mondo raises the bar every time he breaks the world record by a centimeter, and every time he does this, an extra penny dips into his pocket.
According to Forbes Namely, you get 100,000 dollars, which corresponds to approximately 1,060,00 kroner, for each world record – but only once per event.
If we then break it down, then Mondo earned 200,000 kroner, the two aforementioned bonuses and then another 1,060,00 kroner as a result of the world record.
Duplanti’s little trip to Poland thus contributed to him becoming approximately SEK 1,260,000 richer, and we haven’t even talked about potential money from sponsors.
