Student threatened with a gun – four arrested in Varberg

Four people aged 18 have been arrested after threatening a student at a high school in Varberg on Monday afternoon.

– In connection with the threat, they showed a gun-like object which we later located and it is most likely a soft air gun, says Fredrik Svedemyr at the police.

When the police arrived at the scene, the suspected perpetrators could be found near the school. They are now suspected of gross illegal threats.

– We have no information about physical injuries or physical violence. But of course it’s still unpleasant, says Svedemyr.
