Now Desiré Inglander reveals his nice gesture afterwards.
“I love you,” Duplantis writes to his girlfriend.

Armand Duplantis has done it again. It was one of the biggest highlights of the Olympics when he won gold in dominant fashion, and he also took the opportunity to set a new world record, sailing over 6.25 in front of a packed crowd in Paris.

New world record

After the Olympics, Armand Duplantis took a few days off, but it doesn’t seem to have affected his form significantly. On Sunday, Mondo competed in Poland, and then he stepped forward with another record jump, and his third world record this season. Armand Duplantis is the world’s hottest and best track and field athlete, and he continues to extend the distance to the runner-up with new hopes of success almost all the time.

Armand Duplantis wins pretty much every single event he enters, and this season he seems to have stepped it up even further in terms of world records. But one thing was different when he broke his new world record on Sunday. Usually, Armand Duplantis has his girlfriend Desiré Inglander with him at the competitions, in the stands. But on Sunday, Inglander was elsewhere.

The gesture of love to Desiré

Desiré Inglander is diligent about sharing things on her social media as she works as an influencer. Duplantis is often seen in various videos and pictures on, for example, Instagram and TikTok, and even though Inglander was not in the stands when Mondo broke a new world record on Sunday, Mondo included her in their celebration anyway.

Shortly after the jump, Mondo chose to make a video call to Desiré, and he crouched down in front of the sign announcing that he had broken a new world record.

Desiré Inglander herself immortalized the conversation and then posted it on TikTok for her followers to see, and at the time of writing, the clip already has more than a million views.

“I love you,” Duplantis writes as a comment on the video.

In addition, the clip already has over 220,000 likes, and tributes to world star Mondo are pouring in from all over the world in the comments section.
