During the night of Monday, the police carried out an operation at an apartment in Gothenburg. This after two minor girls were locked in the home.
– We receive information and that these girls are in an apartment with a man and that they are not allowed to leave, says the police spokesperson Jens Andersson to Aftonbladet.
Man aged 35 arrested
Through information gathering, the police managed to locate the apartment.
– Once on site, we were able to arrest the man, who is in his 35s, says Jens Andersson The evening paper.
The man is now suspected partly of unlawful deprivation of liberty, partly of attempted rape.
