D-2 before the kick-off of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, with the opening ceremony on the Champs-Élysées and the Place de la Concorde. The Organizing Committee is hoping for the same fervor as during the Olympic Games. Ticket sales have taken off since the beginning of the month. Nearly 2 million tickets have now been sold to encourage the 4,400 para-athletes preparing and getting into the spirit of the Games in the village, where their every need is taken care of, such as the repair of wheelchairs and prosthetics that might be damaged. A dedicated center, open seven days a week, provides them with free assistance if needed, and it is already well attended. Report.
