VPS head coach Jussi Nuorela was rarely satisfied with the 0-0 final result away from FC Lahti on Sunday.
With the help of a point, the team from Vaasa took a big step towards a place in the championship series of the best six teams.
– Before our own match, we heard the final result of the HJK-Inter match. It pretty much meant that one point could very well be enough for us in the top six, VPS pilot Jussi Nuorela quoth.
When the Nigerian striker of VPS who made his debut in the football league Emmanuel Ogude flew to the shower after an hour of play due to a second warning, Nuorela instructed the team to fight defensively.
– Olo is confident that we will clear our way to the championship series. If Gnistan wobbles past us, then I’ll congratulate it profusely. We have had a difficult season. Reaching the top six is like a championship for us, Nuorela said.
Returned to FC Lahti’s lineup after a couple of weeks injury break Samuel Pasanen cursed the three-point lye – let it be that the people of Lahti got out of the qualifier for the time being.
– Due to the man advantage, we had a few individual mistakes. Maybe this point has a big meaning for the rest of the season, even if it doesn’t taste like anything now.
