A civilian police car on duty has collided with a passenger car, the police say. The accident occurred on Hornsgatan at the entrance from the Söderled tunnel shortly after 3 p.m.
– Two people have been taken to hospital, says Göran Norman, the commanding officer of the rescue service.
According to the police, there is one person in each car. The extent of the damage is unclear.
The cars will be recovered from the scene and the investigation is led by the Special Prosecutor’s Chamber.
The accident has a major impact on traffic, and the Swedish Transport Administration’s forecast is set for 17.00.
