Björnzone was successful in Melodifestivalen 2024
The humorous interlude with the fictional boy band Björnzone was a success in the final of Melodifestivalen, and took all of Sweden by storm.
The big Mello snack ice cream Björnzone consisted of Björn Gustafsson, Philip Berg, Loa Falkman, Casper Janebrink, Victor Leksell, Adam Lundgren, Ulrik Munther, Boris Rene, Eric Saade and Måns Zelmerlöw. The performance was even so popular that the song “Still The One” made it onto Spotify’s top 50 list in Sweden.

Björn Gustafsson: “No, I’m not single”
Even on the private level, things seem to be going well for Björn Gustafsson. In connection with Melodifestivalen, he told, in an interview with The evening paper that he got a girlfriend.
– No, I’m not single. And then I can leave it at that, because I think I’ll let my girl stay out of this. But it’s probably also a big difference now, that you feel like you have a home, he told the newspaper.

“Koppla av” is Björn Gustafsson’s new program
There is no doubt that 2024 will be a successful year for Björn Gustafsson. And autumn continues in the same spirit. “Koppla av” is the name of his new sketch show, which premiered on August 23 on SVT. The program is broadcast on Fridays during the autumn, and will be packed with both new and old characters created and played by Björn Gustafsson.

Björn Gustafsson on the new program in SVT: “Benjamin is with”
“Relax” has been described as “a refreshing mix of parodies, pranks and sketches with high and low recognition”. Erik Haag, Anders Helgeson and Björn Gustafsson has written the script for the series himself. Nyheter24 met Björn Gustafsson at a press conference before the program, and he then told us that the character Benjamin is making a comeback in “Koppla av”.
Are there any familiar characters appearing in “Relax”?
– Benjamin was involved when we made “Morgonsoffan” many years ago. And he’s still a youth reporter, but probably closer to 40 now. When you saw yourself, you saw how old Benjamin had become. I’ve become that too, you understand, says Björn Gustafsson with a laugh.
“Relax” is broadcast on Fridays. What does a perfect Friday night look like?
– Go to bed early. I’ve been living like a schoolboy lately. It’s very sobering and boring. I clean and stuff. It is very, very, very calm. Very calm. Pancakes, stuff like that.
Is it because you are in a relationship perhaps? You’ve slowed down a bit?
– That’s not why. I’ve probably had such periods anyway. I like to be by myself and am a bit of an introvert, so that’s more why.
But you are also in a relationship?
– Yes, and that only makes it even more pleasant to be an introvert at home.
