This year, Dr. Bob is once again ensuring the safety and health of the stars in the camp on I’m a Celebrity – Showdown of the Jungle Legends. The trained paramedic has been on the reality show since season 1 and therefore knows each of the legends personally. That’s why he has a clear favorite for the anniversary season.
“Good guy”: Dr. Bob sees him as king of the jungle
In a YouTube video on the show’s channel, he asks questions about the candidates and reveals who he sees on the throne: “Even after halftime, my absolute favorite is still Thorsten.” This is hardly surprising, as the Brit saw the former professional footballer at the top right from the start. However, according to Dr. Bob, Thorsten still has one weak point – his good nature.
The problem with him might just be, although it’s not really a problem, but he’s very emotional and he might even give up the win to someone who he thinks deserves it more, so the fact that he’s such a good guy might get in the way.

The top 3: who makes it to the final?
Who will fight alongside Thorsten in the final? Dr. Bob can’t quite decide on this question. But he sees Sarah Knappik or her jungle BFF Elena Miras in second place. “Sarah may be very quiet, but she could still make it big. Or Elena. She’s a power woman.” But he also sees Eric Stehfest and Gigi Birofio way ahead. The latter is actually the biggest jungle surprise this year for Dr. Bob.
If I had to name one person who surprised me the most, it would be Gigi. We worked together not too long ago and now he’s back and he’s so funny. He’s the comedian of the group. Since August 16, the anniversary season of the jungle camp has been running on RTL under the name I’m a Star – Showdown of the Jungle Legends. A new episode is broadcast daily at 8:15 p.m. Each episode can be streamed one day in advance on RTL+. The new season includes a total of 17 episodes.
