This spring, Frida Karlsson made big headlines when she revealed that she is considering ending her career after the WC in Falun in 2027.
But it may turn out that the championship will be the end for more Swedish skiing stars.

“Had been the dream”
Calle Halfvarsson has also announced that the Falun World Cup is his final goal in his career, and now Maja Dahlqvist also reveals that the World Cup in her old hometown is the final goal for her as well.
– The dream had been to finish at home in Falun in 2027, then I could have finished happy, she tells SVT Sport.
30-year-old Dahlqvist has won two WC golds in team sprints, and also has an Olympic silver and a WC bronze in individual sprints.
