This fall, “The Traitors” is back with a second season. In the first edition, we saw when Katia Mosally took home the prize of SEK 330,000, when she had to shoulder the role of traitor throughout the season – and totally succeeded in deceiving the other participants.
Who we will see in the new season is not yet known, so far TV4 has only confirmed Djurgården’s sports manager Bosse Andersson as one of this year’s participants.
– It was a good casting and they were very keen that I would fit into this programme, said Bosse Andersson in TV4’s EC studio at the beginning of the summer.
Two more participants are now confirmed who will take part in the autumn programme, Thomas Bodström and Marie Serneholt. In “Hellenius hörna special” the duo appears.
– I basically refused at first. But then I talked to my family, because it affects them, and when two of my children and Maria found out about this, they were very angry. “If you’ve been given the chance to do this, you have to participate,” says Thomas Bodström.
A super fan of the show
It was different for Marie Serneholt, who describes herself as a superfan of the program.
– Unlike Thomas, I had seen all the episodes. I slavishly watched season one and just felt that I wanted to try it out. I was not slow to say yes when the question came, she says.
– Or you know, there was a small ounce of doubt. There’s this thing about not having contact with your family and your children for a period, and it felt a bit difficult, she continues.
During the recordings, you go completely into a bubble, without contact with the outside world.
– It’s a bit like sitting inside, says Dragomir Mrsic.
The traitors premieres on TV4 and TV4 Play on October 25.
