Alexander Bommes is actually known as a quiet presenter, but he openly takes the side of the candidates on Gefragt – Gejagt. In Tuesday evening’s show, however, Bommes could not hold back.
The hunter had only six seconds to give the correct answer
The hunter was Sebastian Jacoby. There were only two participants left in the final round. They played their way through 15 questions with ease. Jacoby stumbled on some questions in the first one and a half minutes. After that, the participants were able to give him a point with a correct answer. The hunter only had six seconds left for the last question:
“Which island is famous for its Grillo wines?” Jacoby thought for a moment, but could not “Sicily” answer correctly.
Asked – Hunted: Bommes had to cry out loud
Bommes then screamed out loud, in despair and full of pity for the participants. They had lost 30,000 euros, although there were only three seconds left in the final round. Bommes then said after his emotional outburst:
There are so many islands, Mr Klussmann. You could have chosen any island. Why did it have to be Sicily? This really annoys me. But congratulations, you had very strong nerves.
Bommes was annoyed at Jacoby’s cleverness, but at the same time congratulated him on his narrow victory.
