A detonation has occurred in a stairwell in Helsingborg, the police write on their website.
The police were alerted shortly before 04:00 on Saturday night by several people who heard the bang.
Residents of the building have been asked to remain in their apartments while the National Bomb Squad attends the scene.
There is no information that anyone has been injured. The place is cordoned off.
