After Thierry Henry left his position as coach of the French Espoirs team, the French Football Federation has found a new coach to take over. Gérald Baticle, Henry’s former assistant, was entrusted with the reins of the Bleuets on Friday, August 23, 2024. The 54-year-old former striker signed a contract until June 2025. Another change within the French selections: Hervé Renard, who left the position of coach of the French women’s team, is replaced by Laurent Bonadei. The 54-year-old technician has signed a contract until August 2027.
