Google Essentials: Simplifying the Switch from Smartphone to PC
Google Essentials will be divided into two main categories. First, the software will allow direct access to Google Photos to browse our albums and Google Messages to respond to our SMS directly from our computer. Shortcuts will also allow you to be redirected to productivity services such as Google Docs, Drive, and Calendar, and to be able to install them in a few clicks. To keep users loyal, Google is offering two months of free trial to the Google One service package, with 100 GB of online storage.
Second, Google Essentials will include a section dedicated to gaming. The application will notably integrate Google Play Games, which allows access to thousands of Android games directly from the PC, while synchronizing saves between different devices. Initially, Google Essentials will be available only on HP computers, namely the Spectre, Envy, Pavilion, Oen, Victus and HP Brand series, and then on the OmniBook. The company hopes to extend its partnerships to other manufacturers later. Note that the application will not be imposed, since it will be possible to delete it at any time.
