There are several test facilities around Norrbotten, not least in Arvidsjaur and Arjeplog. The customers consist of world-leading car and tire manufacturers, which among other things means that there are direct flights to Arvidsjaur from several major German cities.
7,600 square meters large
In Älvsbyn, a company has just inaugurated a permanent indoor hall, this due to the increased demand for winter testing.
The hall, which is 7,600 square meters in size, consists of a test track with ice and one with snow.
– We want to offer a place where you can do all kinds of tests in one and the same place, that’s why we invested in this indoor hall, says Jonas Jalar, CEO of Arctic Falls.
