In the Balkans, several migrants drowned on Thursday, August 22, in the river separating Serbia from Bosnia, the Drina. Originally from Egypt and Syria, they were trying to reach Bosnia-Herzegovina to then join the Schengen area. Among the ten bodies found were a mother and her 9-month-old baby.
