The “United Triumph” event starts tomorrow in Pokémon GO. The focus here is on global challenges and bonuses.
When does the event take place? The United Triumph event starts on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 00:00 and runs until Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 08:59.
The event involves three global challenges based on the three teams in Pokémon GO: Valor, Intuition, and Wisdom, which most of you will have joined. However, there are some trainers who have decided against these three teams and in favor of the unofficial Team Harmony.
How does the event work? The three global challenges are activated one after the other. Once the first challenge has been successfully completed, the second one starts. Once this one has been completed, the third and final challenge starts.
For each of the three challenges, bonuses will be unlocked for successful completion until the end of the event. There are also bonuses within the current task that help you complete the challenge.
Although the challenges have the names of the different teams, all tasks must be solved by all trainers, regardless of their team.

Global Challenge Team Daring: In the first global challenge, a total of 75,000,000 members of Team GO Rocket must be defeated.
To make this goal easier to achieve, more Team GO Rockets will appear at PokéStops and more Rocket Balloons will appear during the challenge.
Once the global challenge has been successfully completed, all trainers will be able to complete a limited-time research that will reward them with a Ponyta with a Candela-style accessory. This can also appear as a shiny.
Additionally, there will be double experience points for spinning PokéStops until the end of the event and the next global challenge will start.
Global Challenge Team Intuition: In this challenge, trainers around the world must work together to hatch 20,000,000 eggs.
Within the challenge, eggs placed in incubators during the event will only require half the distance to hatch. Additionally, the following Pokémon can be found in 7km eggs:
For successfully completing this challenge, there will be another limited-time research. The reward is an Elekid with a Spark-style accessory. This Pokémon can also be found as a shiny one.
You’ll also receive double stardust when you hatch eggs until the end of the event. The final global challenge will also begin.
Global Challenge Team Wisdom: In the final global challenge, a total of 35,000,000 field researches must be successfully completed.
While the challenge is active, there will be event-related Field Research. In this research, you can encounter the following Pokémon:
Once this global challenge has been completed, you will receive another limited-time research as a reward. This will allow you to obtain Lapras with an accessory in the style of Blanche. With a bit of luck, you can also obtain this Pokémon as a shiny one.
In addition, there will be two guaranteed XL candies for evolving Pokémon until the end of the event.

Further content of the event: During the event, there will also be PokéStop showcases where you can participate with Pokémon from the event.
You can purchase a ticket for the event in the Pokémon GO web store or in the in-game store for €5.99, which will give you limited-time research. This includes two premium battle passes, a rocket radar, a super incubator, a lure module, and other encounters with Pokémon from the event.
