In France, the president Emmanuel Macron has invited the leaders of the parties to discuss the possibilities of forming a government today.

No political group got a majority of parliamentary seats in early parliamentary elections held at the turn of June and July. Government recognitions were officially on hiatus for the duration of the Olympics held in Paris.

Macron rejected the proposal of the left and green New People’s Front (NFP), which became the largest group in the parliament last month by Lucie Castets appointment as prime minister.
