(Finance) – With reference to the public purchase offer (OPA) mandatory totalitarian promoted on Sarasa company listed on Euronext Milan and active in the oil refining and electricity production sectors, the bidder Varas (a subsidiary of Vitol) has announced that it has purchased 864,676 shares in the session today at a price of 1.6 euros. The transactions were carried out via JPMorgan.
Following the purchases made to date, Varas holds, directlya total of 503,619,522 ordinary shares, equal to approximately 52.957% of the share capital.
Based on the final results of the takeover bidannounced two days ago, Vitol had reached a total holding of 840,951,517 shares, equal to approximately 88.428% of the share capital. Yesterday it purchased 10,453,758 shares.
The the period for adhesion to the OPA will be reopened for 5 trading days (specifically for the sessions of August 26, 2024, August 27, 2024, August 28, 2024, August 29, 2024 and August 30, 2024). The goal is delisting from Piazza Affari.
