TV4’s long-running Nyhetsmorgon keeps the Swedish people company every morning, regardless of the day of the year. Part of the program consists of one person being allowed to visit the studio to scratch a pulley. If you are lucky enough to win a lottery ticket on the weekend, you can go home with a real big win.
When a big win is won, it is common for things to get emotional in the studio, both for the guest and the presenter. That was also the case for Turid.
In September 2023, her life took a complete turn when she guested on Nyhetsmorgon and scraped together a whopping 100,000 kroner a month, for 20 years. The total profit landed at SEK 24 million. Not bad!

News24 has previously written that the first thing Turid did after the win was to resign from his job and travel straight to Portugal with his special estate Aspen.
– It was clear to us that we would win at least SEK 1.2 million, so we booked a trip to Portugal. Of course, we thought it was perfect to travel there right after the scratch. We never thought that it would then be SEK 100,000 a month for 20 years. Of course we dreamed and, oh boy, it came true, says Turid to Nyheter24.

That’s how Turid’s life has changed
It has now been a year since Turid became a millionaire and things have happened since then. She tells Nyheter24 that she and Espen have married.
– This year has been magical. I quit the job, what a dream. Espen moved here from Norway. We are fully renovating the house. Last winter we were able to afford a snow blower, which was lucky considering all the snow that came. We have been able to take advantage of the nice days either on the ski slope or on the scooter.
She continues:
– Above all, we still live as usual. However, the future is secure financially. We can stay, pay the electric bill, kidding aside. We have lowered our shoulders. We can really enjoy being retired. We have gained time.
