Sony apparently accidentally leaks new content for Helldivers 2

Sony may have leaked an upcoming content for Helldivers 2 by briefly selling it as a sticker in the store.

What kind of leak is this? Sony had published a new offer in the PlayStation Store: a sticker set with 13 stickers representing boosters from Helldivers 2. However, there are currently only 12 boosters in Helldivers 2, and the four-leaf clover in the third row of the store image is not (yet) included in the game.

In the meantime, Sony has deleted the offer and the former store page is no longer accessible, but some Helldivers fans were quick and posted a screenshot on Reddit:

The co-op shooter community now believes that this was an accidental leak by Sony. The sticker, which is not in the game, could therefore come with a future update. The fact that the store offer was deleted again reinforces this theory.

But take this information with a certain amount of skepticism. After all, this is not an official announcement. It is not certain that such a booster will actually come into the game.

What are boosters? Boosters are bonuses that can be used for the duration of a mission to improve the skills and resources of your Helldivers.

Boosters are not consumable items and can be reselected before each mission. However, each booster can only be used once per team and each Helldiver can only choose a single booster. However, a selected booster always applies to every player in the squad.

What does the community say about this? The community is quite sure that this is a probable leak and is busy speculating about what the probably leaked booster will be able to do.

  • “I keep thinking of a booster that gives you a completely random 5th Stratagem. I hope that’s it. Or could it have something to do with death chance?” (via reddit)
