Lauri Lehtinen sixth after the opening day of the World

The Frisbee Golf World Championships are held in the US state of Virginia.

Niklas Anttila got to enjoy eight birdies in the opening round of the frisbee golf championships Finnish time on Thursday night.

The biggest Finnish hope in the open class cleared the New London forest course in Lynchburg in the US state of Virginia with 63 shots (5 under par). The score was dimmed at the end by the bogeys on fairways 17 and 18.

The performance is enough for a shared 13th place, six shots behind the leaders, USA’s Anthony Barela and Isaac Robinson.

Lauri Lehtinen (-7) went around a couple of hours before the hot groups and was able to have the cleanest performance of the Finns. He shares sixth place.

Lehtinen, born in 2002, unexpectedly became the best Finnish man (13th) in the World Cup sledges a year ago.
