In Mali, the organization Action Against Hunger notes a worrying increase in cases of child malnutrition in a report published Tuesday, August 20. Children under 5 years old living in displaced persons camps in the northeast of the country are particularly affected. Malnutrition affects 30% of children in these places. Among the causes of this child malnutrition, the NGO points to the various conflicts in Mali that have been ongoing since 2012.
