The Guardian: All bodies found in Italian luxury yacht crash | News in brief

The luxury yacht Bayesian, owned by the wife of British technology millionaire Mike Lynch, sank on Monday off Porticello harbor in Italy.

All six people missing from the luxury yacht that sank in southern Italy on Monday have been found dead, the British media Guardian reported on Wednesday evening. This brought the death toll from the accident off Sicily to seven.

The British newspaper The Telegraph reported that the Italian authorities believed that the British technology boss would be among those found Mike Lynch and his teenage daughter Hannah.

Among those traveling on the boat were also the chairman of the board of the investment bank Morgan Stanley’s European business Jonathan Bloomer and his wife. The information was confirmed by the British insurance company Hiscox, on whose board Bloomer also served.

On Monday, 15 people were rescued during the search, including a one-year-old child and Lynch’s wife.
