It must be said that the first season, which divided hardcore fans of the original work and those who were more curious, was a significant success and especially a record start, since Amazon announced that it had been seen by more than 100 million viewers, including 25 million on its launch day. Prime Video also announced in a press release that the series was the one that had generated the most registrations to its streaming platform during its launch window.
As you might have guessed, season 2 of The Rings of Power is coming soon. The Lord of the Rings prequel, which tells the story of Galadriel’s fight against Sauron and her rise to power during JRR Tolkien’s Second Age, will undoubtedly create a buzz on Prime Video this fall.
