Experts frequently warn about heat stroke due to the hot weather brought by summer.
BE CAREFUL WITH WATER CONSUMPTION!
Experts, who particularly draw attention to water consumption, said, “Water consumption should be increased because fluid loss in the body increases and electrolyte balance is disrupted in extreme heat. Extreme heat, which can cause many diseases such as heat stroke, brain hemorrhage, heart attack, which even affects healthy people, poses a greater risk for hypertension, diabetes and heart patients.”
THEY WARNED BY GIVING A TIME
On the other hand, experts underlined that one should not go out during certain hours and included the following statements;
“Therefore, if possible, you should avoid going out between 11:00 and 16:00, and those who do should try to stay in the shade. You should wear a hat and cool your hands, face, neck and arms with water. A warm shower will also be beneficial to balance your body temperature when you get home. Water consumption should be increased because fluid loss increases in the body and electrolyte balance is disrupted in extreme heat. If there is no disease that requires fluid restriction, you should consume 2.5 liters of water per day.”
Experts noted that water is vital in hot weather and underlined that at least 2-2.5 liters of liquid should be consumed every day.
