The municipality points out that problems caused by DITO visitors must be “addressed” and that a catering operator is obliged to ensure “an orderly course” around his business. In response to council questions from UtrechtNU! it states: “If we determine that an entrepreneur may have failed in this, an investigation and conversation with the operator will follow. Depending on the findings and the conversation, there are various measures that can be taken, from issuing a warning to withdrawing the permit. As stated, after a constructive conversation between the municipality and the operator of DITO, no measures are now being considered for DITO.”
