The police in Norrbotten were alerted by another police region in southern Sweden. This after the man and woman who had been out hiking in the Sarek National Park did not return when they were supposed to, last Sunday.
– We are now working with information gathering, says Malin Axroth at the police.
The police have also sent up a helicopter to search for the couple.
– We have found their car and the search is currently based on it, says Malin Axroth.
