The First Berserker: Khazan is a new action role-playing game for Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Opening Night Live of the gamescsom 2024 there was a new trailer, the release window and the call for beta testing.
What kind of game is this? In The First Berserker: Khazan you take on the role of the title hero Khazan. He is a general of the Pell Los Empire. He survived his own death and is now on a vengeance tour to hunt down his enemies and traitors.
The hack’n slash is a Souls-like in a bloody cell-shading style. It is developed by Neople and published by Nexon. You can see whether it’s for you with the aforementioned trailer from the ONL of gamescom 2024:

How to take part in the closed beta – with the right console
When will the game be released? Get started in The First Berserker: Khazan is coming in spring 2025, according to the trailer. The game will be released simultaneously for PC via Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series X.
At least on Steam you can already put the title on your wishlist. But if you want to try it out yourself in advance, you can do so via the upcoming beta phase.

What is there to know about the beta? The closed beta is scheduled to take place between October 11 and 20, 2024. The platforms for this are PS5 and Xbox Series X and the registration processes differ slightly:
Participation via PS5: Visit the game’s official website. There you have to register your email address. If you are selected for the beta, you will receive a code to this email when the test starts.
Participation via Xbox Series X: To participate on Xbox, you must register via the Xbox Insider app at the start of the test. Participants will be assigned in the order of registration – first come, first served.
Important: The beta will not take place on the Xbox Series S.
Will there be a beta for PC? In the announcement on Steam, only the PS5 and Xbox Series X are explicitly announced as beta platforms. It is not known at the moment whether a test for PC is planned.
